On Going Programs & Activities
Education
The focus is on giving children the basic tools needed for a better school experience.
Used equipment from schools, libraries and the community is donated and distributed where needed including books, tables, recycled office supplies, backpacks filled with school supplies all make for a better learning environment.
Empty Basket Program
Poor diet choices among Native Americans contribute to such deadly illnesses as diabetes, kidney failure, and tuberculosis.
Tens-of-thousands of pounds of food items are distributed through our
warehouse.
Food
items are distributed via our shipments to the various reservations in
Montana, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, New Mexico and Arizona.
Donated frozen/canned/boxed goods as well as baby formula and baby foods
are sent to the impoverished communities we serve.
Medical
The infant mortality rate is three times higher than
the national average, and diabetes, tuberculosis, high blood pressure
and respiratory diseases are at epidemic proportions.
We collect and distribute new and unopened health products donated by hospitals, medical supply houses and individuals.
Building Supplies
Sub-standard housing exists due to little resources, skills, limited monies to repair tribal owned homes, schools and community buildings.
Individuals, retail stores and builders donate materials that help refurbish housing in need of repair. We send teams of workers with tools to upgrade and repair existing homes.

Family Services
Unmet basic needs and mismanaged communities contribute to poverty, the shortest life expectancy, and the lowest per capita income ($4,500) in America.
Beds, hygiene,
diapers, refrigerators and washers, furniture, appliances, linens and house wares are among the most requested items.
Project Pride
This program offers
local Natives assistance with food, clothing, house wares, furniture,
school supplies, medical supplies, etc---whatever is in stock. No need
for personal information; just help us out with some volunteering in our
warehouse.
Christmas Program
Many of the
Native communities we serve don’t get visited by Santa Claus. To meet
the needs of the children on the reservations, from infants through 18
years of age and for the Elders in the communities, we have a Christmas
Program. Each child is given a brand new age appropriate gift along with
a blanket. The Elders are given a wrapped shoe box filled with stocking
stuffer items, such as deodorant, tooth brushes, shampoo, gloves,
scarves, etc. We accept donations year round as we package these gifts
year round. The Tribes usually start asking for the gifts as early as
September as we can only offer Santa some help on a first come first
served basis. It’s Christmas throughout the year at One Nation.
